INSTALLATION GUIDE

Video Guide:

1. Download the installer
2. Double click the Nano Banana Pro Setup file
3. If you get a windows security warning that is expected. Select more and install anyway
4. The app will install
5. This is the main dashboard of the app

   

6. There are two ways to use it, one is just to create your prompts to use in other apps and the other is to connect an API to generate images directly in the app
7. To connect an API:
   1. You need to create an account with Google AI Studio, set up billing (google normally gives users free credits to start with) and in API keys select Create API key, name it and add it to a project and save

      

   2. Then click here and select copy API key. Do not share your API key publicly keep it private and secure

      

   3. Back in the app select Connect API Key

      

      
      
   4. Paste your API key in here and save it

      

      
      
   5. Now you are ready to generate images directly in the prompt builder app
8. Type in a description of the subject, action and in the environment tab the description of the setting

   

9. Select your Shot angle, lighting source, camera body, visual styles or effects (using too many will weaken the overall influence of them so be selective and use just a few at a time)

   

10. You're now ready to generate, if using the API you can select 1k, 2k or 4k output (beware these are charged per generation to your studio account.) If you want to use a different app to generate like Gemini you can click the prompt to copy it to the clipboard. You can then also use the copy scene json afterwards to copy a json of the multiple angles and use that in Gemini chat as well. Otherwise hit generate to create the image directly in the app.

TROUBLESHOOTING -

MAC USERS

The MacBook version is a beta right now. I am not on the Apple Developer Program yet so gatekeeper is flagging the app as damaged.

If you want to use it there are some steps to get around this.

1. Open the App Using Control-Click (Recommended)

• Open Finder, go to Applications, locate the app.
• Press Control while clicking the app icon.
• Select Open from the shortcut menu.
• Click Open again in the confirmation dialog.
• The app will now be trusted and can be opened normally.

2. Use the “Open Anyway” Button in System Settings

• After the error appears, close the dialog.
• Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security.
• Under Security, you’ll see a message like: “[App] was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer.”
• Click Open Anyway.
• Confirm with Open when prompted.

WHITE SCREEN -

Some people have had a white screen after installation.

The issue is caused by corrupted temporary files within the application's data directory. Clearing the local cache resolves the UI rendering error.

How to Clear the Application Cache

If the "White Screen" error occurs again, follow these steps to reset the interface data:

1. Close the application completely (check the Task Manager to ensure no background processes are running).
2. Press Win + R on your keyboard to open the "Run" dialog.
3. Type %AppData% and press Enter. This will open your user's "Roaming" folder.
4. Locate and open the folder named after your application.
5. Find and delete the following sub-folders: Cache
6. Restart the application.
